Video date: January 19, 2026

In this video: Our brief report for the holiday includes an update on toll road construction in Oklahoma City, San Francisco and Orlando, where an eminent-domain fight could be on hand. AI traffic controls are helping in Oklahoma, and will congestion toll pricing continue in NYC?

Full description: A widening project on Oklahoma City's Kilpatrick Turnpike is underway, wrapping its way along a key segment that crosses the NW Expressway. Toll booth removal that was to have started in California has been delayed until March, and the last toll booths to be removed in the Bay Area will not be taken out until 2028. AI traffic controls are already impacting traffic in Oklahoma City, and city leaders are expecting more AI-based traffic control in the future, as well. Key legal battles are shaping up in Orlando and in New York City that could impact the future of tolls in those areas; we will have a preview. Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day from Turnpikes.com.
