Video date: April 06, 2026

In this video: Our post-holiday news brief includes an update of gas prices, a preview of a national enforcement action this weekend against distracted driving, plus a 600-million dollar announcement to replace an aging bridge connecting Pennsylvania's and New Jersey's turnpikes. Danny Pryor reports for Turnpikes.com.

Full description: Gas prices rose at an accelerated pace in the past week as the Iran conflict dragged into another week. A major coordinated enforcement action is happening this weekend that targets distracted drivers, all part of Distracted Driving Awareness Month. One toll gantry gets prices lowered as a new gantry goes online on the north end of Florida's Turnpike; and personal pass accounts are now available for the Gordie Howe International Bridge, which opens soon.
