Full description: It's our Happy Holidays video cast for 2025, and we break down AAA's best and worst travel times, both before and after Christmas. Was a possible Christmas present for Florida residents discussed at a cabinet meeting? Scuttlebutt is Florida's governor wants to let residents drive toll free. A preferred alternative bridge design, in its very early stages, has been approved by Maryland's Transportation Authority for the aging Chesapeake Bay Bridge, which includes four travel lanes in each direction. Toll booths are about to come down on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge in California, as are the Bedford toll booths on I-95 in New Hampshire. That, plus our wishes for a safe and happy holiday, from Turnpikes.com. Editor's note: An earlier version of this video cast erroneously stated the Blue Star Turnpike in New Hampshire was converting to a cashless system. This has been corrected to reflect the Everett Turnpike is converting to cashless, not the Blue Star.
