Full description: Kansas City's metro area gets new express lanes on the 21st of the month, and officials with the Kansas DOT are holding an open house this week for residents in Overland Park; three public presentations are on tap in Maryland this week as officials in that state present a replacement for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. A key commuter project connecting New York and New Jersey remains halted as the White House is expected to appeal a federal judge's ruling that funding can not be withheld. Meanwhile, a ruling is expected from another federal judge regarding the congestion tolling zone in Manhattan. Bridge beam deliveries in Evansville continue next week, and deliveries have been extended to February 23.
