Full description: The arrival of the holidays means the arrival of toll increases when the New Year gets here; among the roads with toll hikes are the PA Turnpike and all toll roads of the PA Turnpike system, including PA 43, PA 66, PA 576 and the Beaver Valley Expressway. The Ohio Turnpike will have a toll increase, a limited toll increase is expected in Illinois and on the Atlantic City Expressway, where a conversion to cashless tolling means a new rate for one-time cash customers. Meanwhile, the international crossing at the Ambassador Bridge is about to cost more, even as the Gordie Howe International Crossing nears its opening date.
