Full description: A wild police chase on the Everett Turnpike in New Hampshire hit speeds well over 100 miles per hour, ending at Exit 18 with a driver fatality. The Gordie Howe International Bridge will be opening in 2026, as the Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority says too much work remains for an opening this year. The new service plazas on the Massachusetts Turnpike will also have to wait, as the state's transportation department is restarting the bidding process, following a contract controversy. A once-key Park and Ride lot is closing for lack of use, and the International Bridge Tunnel and Turnpike Association concludes its annual expo with the presentation of the Toll Excellence Awards.
