Full description: A 22-percent toll hike just hit Tolls-By-Mail commuters who use the bridges or tunnels to get from New Jersey into New York City, and a new tolling tier has also been rolled out. New York's governor is touting the successes of Manhattan's congestion tolling, which has brought down traffic and pedestrian fatalities. Pennsylvania announced a series of new gantry 'monotube' installations happening in July, this as commissioners also voted to increase tolls in 2026 by about 4-percent. And, the Golden Gate Bridge IS open, not closed as some people thought had been reported. We'll tell you about that little snafu, as well.
