In this video: A shorter newscast for Labor Day; Texas terminates toll agreement with company running the 288 Express lanes near Houston, a permanent replacement for Fort Myers' Sanibel Causeway could be another two years away, and Oklahoma goes back to the drawing board for a turnpike extension connecting to Norman.

Full description: Texas has decided to take control of the SH 288 Express Lanes, saying it will lead to a long-term reduction in toll costs for drivers and more free travel lanes. Florida's DOT says it may take another two years to get a permanent replacement for the Sanibel Causeway built. Traffic is using a temporary bridge, as construction continues. And Oklahoma is going back to the drawing board before construction begins on a new turnpike extension connecting with Norman, after public outcry to the first plan.
