At and around mile marker 99.5: Closure of one lane in each direction on Okeechobee Boulevard at the Turnpike (see map) for road work connected to an ongoing turnpike widening project. Closures will happen weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and on Saturdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Traffic entering and exiting the turnpike will be impacted.

Wednesday March 11, 2026 — Thursday March 12, 2026

At and around mile marker 94.0: Overnight closure of the southbound ramp to the West Palm Beach Service Plaza, beginning at 10 p.m. and ending the following morning at 6 a.m. For SB traffic to use the plaza overnight, exit at Lake Worth Road, then go back north on the turnpike to the service plaza.

Between mile markers 86.5 and 94: Full closure of the turnpike northbound at Boynton Beach Blvd (Exit 86), northward to Lake Worth Road (Exit 93). Closures will happen starting at 9 p.m. and ending the following morning at 5 a.m. Tuesday night�s closure will happen only if necessary.

Between mile markers 272.5 and 279.5: Widening of turnpike from two to four lanes in each direction in Lake and Orange Counties. Expect lane closures. Widening corresponding bridges at Jones Rd., Blackstill Lake Rd., Old Hwy 50, W. Orange Tr., Fosgate Rd. Replace bridges at CR 438 and CR 455. New gantries and toll plaza removal at Clermont, Exit 272 to SR 50.

Reconstruction of all bridges in project corridor; interchange and lighting improvements at U.S. Hwy 27; pavement resurfacing. Toll gantry installation.

Between mile markers 254.5 and 258.5: A new interchange is being constructed on the Florida's Turnpike at Sand Lake Road (SR 482). Expect lane closures, shoulder closures and lane shifts. Most lane closures should be overnight.

Between mile markers 238.5 and 242.5: Widening of turnpike from two to four lanes in each direction from Clay Whaley Road to U.S. Hwy 192 in Osceola County. Expect lane closures and lane shifts. Most closures should be overnight.

Between mile markers 272 and 279.5: Widening of turnpike from four to eight lanes (four lanes each direction) between SR 50 in Clermont to Hancock Road in Minneola. Expect periodic full closures overnight. Expect lane closures and periodic full closures overnight. Project requires new bridges at Fosgate Road and replacement of bridges at CR 483, CR 455, Jones Rd., Old Hwy 50, Blackstill Lake Rd and West Orange Trail. New gantries will replace toll booths on ramps.

Between mile markers 93.5 and 101.5: Turnpike widening project, including ramp reconstruction, northbound and southbound Florida's Turnpike between Boynton Beach Boulevard and Okeechobee Boulevard (Exits 86 to 99). Project will include reconstructing the interchanges at Okeechobee and Jog Roads, including the addition of a SB exit and NB entrance ramp at Jog Road, which will complete the interchange. Expect periodic lane shifts, lane closures and overnight road closures during the construction period, which is slated to continue through 2030.
