License Plate Tolling

The Lincoln Tunnel offers license-plate tolling for those without a compatible transponder.

How you pay the license plate toll.

Cash collection has now ceased. Toll transponder or license plate tolling only.

Invoices for licence plate tolling may include administrative fees, and they will be mailed to the address of the person named on the vehicle's registration.

Quick Tip Open-road tolling means there are travel lanes that have no toll booths, only overhead gantries. All-electronic tolling means no cash is permitted. If a facility does not take cash, then license-plate tolling generally prevails for that toll facility, unless otherwise noted.
